Glenys Babcock, PhD, Founder and Principal

Glenys Babcock is a leading survey scientist and the driving force behind the Survey Science Institute.

Glenys has dedicated over 30 years to developing science-based surveys and conducting sophisticated data analysis. Her diverse roster of clients includes the World Bank, governments in the USA, Russia, Japan, and Canada, as well as Microsoft and other Fortune 500 companies, industry associations, and dozens of non-profits both big and small. When accuracy matters, decision-makers trust Glenys for survey data, analysis, insights and recommendations for action.

Armed with a BA in mathematics, an MPhil and PhD in Public Policy Analysis, and academic training in theoretical and applied statistics, Glenys has had a career sharply focused on research design and methodology.

Glenys’ commitment to the science of surveys is evident in her independent research on survey methodologies, survey questionnaires, and response scales. As a presenter and keynote speaker at academic conferences and industry events, she takes great pleasure in sharing powerful insights derived from leading-edge research, unique methods, artful survey questions, and insightful analytics … built on science, experience, and logic.

Mentoring is close to her heart. Glenys has guided many young professionals who have gone on to become leaders in public opinion and market research.
